Conference Canceled Due to COVID-19
After careful consideration to the health and safety of all our attendees the ALERT Users Group (AUG) conference which was to be held in May had been rescheduled due to the concerns with the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The AUG conference which was then rescheduled for October in lieu of AUG’s annual Fall meeting has now also been canceled.
The ALERT Users Group like many organizations has been monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and the possible effects it may have on our conference. AUG’s highest priority remains the health and safety of our attendees during these uncertain times. The current information from the CDC, the Ventura County Health Organization along with the Ventura Beach Marriott currently says that a conference of our size cannot be held.
All registered attendees, vendors and sponsors will be receiving a full refund. Refunds will be made in the way the original registration was made. Emails will be sent when registration refunds are issued. Some may be contacted before refunds are made due to issues such as expired credit cards.
The ALERT Users Group is looking into posting papers and/or presentations to our website to help continue the learning that will be lost by not having a conference this year. AUG will also be looking into having the Fall one day meeting held online.
